Mercato Metropolitano
This impressive outdoor venue sits on the site of a former disused paper factory on Newington Causeway. Opening its doors in late 2016, it has since become a popular spot for al fresco dining and drinking. The venue is home to over 40 vendors within its impressive space as well as boasting a micro-brewery. Sample dishes from around the globe from Italy, South America, Vietnam and many more.

This creative outdoor venue by the Thames started as a project between three childhood friends, Tommo, Ryan and Blandy, who teamed up to bring the barge all the way from Den Helder in Holland to its new home in East London. With the support of the local community, it has evolved into a fully-fledged floating restaurant and garden terrace. The menu offers delicious street food using fresh ingredients straight from the garden and a selection of beers, cider and wines.
