Staff WriterJohn David Washington is the new Protagonist in Christopher Nolan’s original sci-fi action spectacle “Tenet.” Armed with only one word—Tenet—and fighting for the survival of the entire world, the Protagonist journeys through a twilight world of international espionage on a mission that will unfold in something beyond real time.
Not time travel. Inversion. The international cast of “Tenet” also includes Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Dimple Kapadia, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Clémence Poésy, with Michael Caine and Kenneth Branagh.
Nolan wrote and directed the film, utilizing a mixture of IMAX and 70mm film to bring the story to the screen. “Tenet” is produced by Emma Thomas and Nolan. Thomas Hayslip served as executive producer.
Nolan’s behind-the-scenes creative team included director of photography Hoyte van Hoytema, production designer Nathan Crowley, editor Jennifer Lame, costume designer Jeffrey Kurland, visual effects supervisor Andrew Jackson, and special effects supervisor Scott Fisher. The score is composed by Ludwig Göransson. “Tenet” was filmed on location across seven countries.

The Shining (1980)

Thanks to the king of horror, Stephen King, and thanks to Stanley Kubrick’s adaptation of the book, a masterpiece was made for all to see, be spooked by and, after all, enjoy. Jack Torrance’s family and story, fuelled some conspiracy theories that are still discussed today, and, will without a doubt continue to feed our imaginations. From RedRum written on the walls to the famous blood scene, The Shining will definitely give you a new perspective when it comes to this genre.
The Omen (1976)

Pets, ghosts and clowns are the main ingredients when creating a horror movie, but in Richard Donner’s movie, The Omen, we encounter something completely different. The perfect father figure begins a journey only to discover that his son is the Antichrist. The Omen must be on your Halloween list either if you already saw it or not.
Nosferatu(1922)

Surrounded by controversy, Nosferatu is the first film that introduced vampires on the big screen and survived to this day. The silence of the masterpiece only adds an eerie feeling, taking us back in time, enjoying a fuller experience. This classic must be on everyone’s watch list!
Bram Stoker’s Dracula (1992)

An American gothic that brings on the screen not only great actors, but the story from which all the vampire films were born. Having Garry Oldman as Count Dracula, Winona Rider as Mina Harker and Anthony Hopkins as Van Helsing, the movie is a masterpiece at least, that romanticises the heart of the Count, bringing the terror of the story back to life at the same time.
Rosemary’s Baby (1968)

An eerie film that intrigues the audience despite having a very straight forward plot. Roman Polanski shows us how a perfectly normal couple is teared apart by the devil himself, meticulously hiding in the details, resulting the birth of Satan’s spawn. A story that will not only captivate your attention, but will definitely accelerate your pulse.

The first trailer for the latest adaptation of Frank Herbert’s epic science fiction classic Dune, has finally arrived. Coming from Arrival and Blade Runner 2049 director Denis Villeneuve, the latest take on Dune sports one of the starriest casts of recent memory, giving this adaptation an extra bit of spice.
Timothée Chalamet stars as Paul Atreides, the son of Duke Atreides (Oscar Isaac) and Bene Gesserit Jessica (Rebecca Ferguson). When his father accepts stewardship of the planet Arrakis (commonly referred to as Dune), the only source of the powerful ‘spice’ substance in the universe, Paul’s destiny is changed forever as he is introduced to the world of the Fremen, the natives of Arrakis. The rest of the cast includes such names as Javier Bardem, Josh Brolin, Zendaya, Charlotte Rampling, Jason Mamoa, Dave Bautista and Stellan Skarsgård.
Dune has been adapted for cinema once before, back in 1984 by director David Lynch. While that film has since gone on to become something of a cult favourite, it was a critical and financial failure upon release, with Lynch himself effectively disowning the movie. More success was had with a TV mini-series in 2000, but it is clearly no easy task to bring to life Herberts world of complicated politics, warring factions, detailed cultures, supernatural abilities and giant sand-worms. With Villeneuve being behind some of the most stunning sci-fi’s of recent memory, will this trip back to the planet of Dune be a more successful venture?
Without further ado, here’s the first trailer:
Now, that’s one packed trailer. With a clear emphasis on real world locations and tactile production design, the world of Dune already feels tangible, real and dangerous. Many of the details on display ion this first taste look to be very faithful to Herbert’s novel, and even has shades of Lynch’s styling as the trailer sets out the tensions that await Paul and his family when they move to Arrakis.
The real money shot though, is in the tease of the overwhelming size of the sand-worms that shift beneath the surface of Arrakis’ landscape. It’s an impressive glimpse of what Villeneuve has forged from Herbert’s world, in an adaptation that clearly looks like it’s up to the task of transporting us away to experience all the spectacle that this classic story has to offer.
Dune is set to be released in cinemas from December 18th 2o20.

‘No Time to Die’ Trailer previews Daniel Craig’s Farewell

The second trailer for the 25th James Bond film, titled ‘No Time To Die’, gives audiences the biggest insight so far into Daniel Craig’s farewell to the iconic spy franchise.
The action-packed trailer features a number of awe-inspiring stunts and spectacular set pieces, much like the ones that veteran fans have come to expect over the years. Returning stars include Léa Seydoux, Ralph Fiennes, Naomi Harris, Jeffrey Wright and Christoph Waltz, with the trailer spotlighting a dark secret at the heart of Bond’s world, as well as the villain, Safin, played by ‘Mr Robot’ and ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ star Rami Malek.
‘No Time To Die’ marks Craig’s fifth and final big screen appearance as the suave secret agent, having made his debut in ‘Casino Royale’ back in 2006. Craig’s darker and more complex portrayals of Bond have made him a fan favourite and more than justified his selection in the first place.
Doubts about his future were raised after his appearance in 2015’s ‘Spectre’, where he hinted that he did not want to continue as Bond, but was convinced to make a final appearance as a full stop on his tenure.
Further concerns mounted when reports surfaced of a series of major production difficulties. It was announced that chosen director Danny Boyle, legendary in British cinema, would be departing due to creative differences. This, combined with the ongoing pandemic, forced the cinema release to be delayed from April 2020 until November.
After this, Daniel Craig reportedly suffered an ankle injury on set in Jamaica, with the delay causing scheduling difficulties with Rami Malek, limiting the time during which the two could shoot their scenes. Later, legendary singer Grace Jones, who appeared in ‘A View To A Kill’, left the project over her displeasure with the size of her role.
Despite the difficulties the production has faced, the newest trailer looks to reprise all of the key elements that fans love about the series. Billie Eilish’s theme song released to critical and commercial acclaim earlier this year, and fans are optimistic about sending Daniel Craig off on a high.

Staff WriterColin Farrell plays villain Oswald Cobblepot in the new Batman movie and looked unrecognisable in the newly released trailer. Many viewers were shocked to learn the actor was playing the character and as a result the hashtag was trending on twitter.

In the trailer we get to see the new bat suit which is slimmed down and looks a lot less restrictive than previous iterations. We also get to hear Pattinson as The Batman as he faces a few bad guys in a short fight scene.
In another scene Batman zips up a flight of stairs and we also get a short look at the infamous Batmobile in action with a short chase scene with Oswald Cobblepot. The cinematography from the trailer already looks impressive.
The star has had a busy schedule recently completing Netflix series ‘The Devil All The Time’ and the release of his new movie ‘Tenet’.
