Marko Arnautovic scored the only goal of the match for West Ham United as they beat London rivals Chelsea at the London Stadium.
The win have West Ham manager David Moyer’s his first in in-charge and a boost for his team who are still in the relegation zone.
This was West Ham’s first win in nine games and takes them to 18th place in the Premier League table. Chelsea are now 11 points behind leaders Man City who play Man United on Sunday.
West Ham started the match as the better team and were rewarded with a sixth minute goal by Marko Arnatovic thanks to an assist by Manuel Lanzini with a one-two combination that beat the defence.
Chelsea pressed forward after the early goal and they dominated possesion throughout the match but were unable to find an equalizer with Eden Hazard and Alvaro Morata both missing decent chances late in the match.
