Tommy Hilfiger announces the Fall 2020 HILFIGER COLLECTION for men and women, the pinnacle of the Tommy Hilfiger product offering, designed through the lens of an all-American kaleidoscope. Styles honor timeless American craftsmanship, blending coast-to-coast Americana influences with a playful fashion edge. The collection will be available online at tommy.com, at TOMMY HILFIGER stores worldwide and select wholesale partners beginning early October 2020.
For women, the season begins with vintage-inspired hand-drawn prints, laser-cut leathers and engineered blankets. Reminiscent of American cult classics, the rich and treasured traditions of quilt work, patchwork and stitch detailing are incorporated throughout. Outerwear silhouettes are reimagined in leather and shearling, as well as a warm color palette inspired by natural plains and deserts, before continuing to the black and white, gritty city lights of the East Coast.
As the collection travels through the mid-west, crested buffalo checks and iconic TOMMY HILFIGER blackwatch tartan and checks make a statement in a series of two-piece dressing, tailored separates and fluid pajamas. Moving further east, varsity classics pay homage to the brand’s preppy heritage. At the season’s end, Tommy Hilfiger’s longstanding love of rock-and-roll takes hold in the form of black leather pieces elevated with edgy, urban details including crest monogram critters, studs and laser cut-outs.
For men, the season opens with desert-ready designs that play with the tonalities of the chino color. Two worlds collide as varsity elements are reinvented with a Western twist. As the collection travels through the mid-west, crested buffalo checks, TOMMY HILFIGER-red and hunter green plaid exude a rustic, elevated lumberjack vibe. Sportswear elements are front and center in Fall 2020, with the referee vertical striped polo, velour and hockey jersey. Suits featuring embroidered crests and houndstooth celebrate Tommy Hilfiger’s unwavering rock-and-roll influence.
Friends and followers of the brand are invited to join the conversation on social media using #TommyHilfiger, @TommyHilfiger and #TommyHilfiger.
How to Add style with face masks
This is perhaps the easiest and popular way, and well, you don’t have to put much of an effort into it. Perhaps the most important concept when it comes to design, especially outfit design, is matching colours. One of the easiest way is to look and adopt a look based on neutral colours, and this is mostly because they go with any other colour such as brown, black, white or navy. You can also use contrast in your outfit if you are not a fan of neutrals or simply want something different that day. To be on the safe side, just look at the colour wheel and play with opposites.
If you didn’t know it yet, there are face masks that come with matching accessories, yes, they give us a little push and help us ad some style and keep our outfits under control. They come in basic colours or they have matching patterns, great especially for those who usually adopt an all black look. Some have even ties and pocket squares that match, which let’s face it, save many of us a lot of time.
And this doesn’t necessarily have to be complicated, not at all. There are plenty of YouTube videos, TikTok’s and Reels on Instagram with others that already tried and got successful combos for their outfits. This being said, you can get inspired and plan your own outfit much easier. You can also watch videos on how to make your own masks, a few easy steps that change the mask from being a mandatory burden to an actual accessory.
Support Local Businesses
And this should be a no brainer giving the amount of creative individuals here in the UK. Plenty of fashion students, independent artist and small boutiques decided to give a hand and splash some colour on these unpredicted and dark times we are facing. Therefore, a mask is not a mask anymore, it can have a story and most importantly, it plays a major role in protecting others or helping the emerging artists by purchasing from them. Most of them advertise through social media, and some post as well short clips showing the process of making such a mask.
Savage x Fenty show is coming this October
After the debut of her first show during NYFW 2019, Rihanna is launching a brand new show this October 2. Like last year, Savage x Fenty will be partnering with Amazon Prime Video to showcase the show. Under the name “Savage, not sorry”, the new line of the singer’s brand will be one of the most talked-about shows of the season.
On September 18, Rihanna launched in her Instagram account @badgalriri a teaser of what we can expect for this show. In her casting list we can find names we can recognize from her previous cast. Bella Hadid, Cara Delevigne, or Normani will make their return to the show. New models and celebrities will join them: Paris Hilton, Irina Shaik, Demi Moore, Lizzo, or Willow Smith, and more, will hit the runway this October. The show will also feature music from Travis Scott, Rosalia, Bad Bunny, Miguel, Ella Mai, Mustard, and Roddy Rich.
Last year, Rihanna launched her first show at the Barclays Centre in Brooklyn. As this year, she chose to cast singers, dancers, performers and celebrities for the presentation. The variety of sizes, skin colour and heights is what makes the brand so special. Last year, Victoria’s Secret show was cancelled due to the criticism of the beauty ideals the brand has. Instead of seeing the “usual angels” hitting the runway last fall, Savage x Fenty created an inclusive and empowering show were all types of bodies and shapes are welcome.
This second volume is expected to be one of a kind and be one of the most talked-about shows. Following the coronavirus guidelines, we are waiting to see what Rihanna has prepared for this year. Over the years, we have been able to see how different brands have created more inclusive cast, but none of them are close to reaching what Savage x Fenty has. The singer has created a brand of her own where empowering women to feel sexy in their own skin has been the main purpose. This is what makes fashion beautiful, be able to feel good in the garments we are wearing without thinking about sizes or weight.
The show will be available for Prime Video subscribers worldwide on October 2.

The iconic little black dress must be the best example. Black is classy, elegant and a great advantage is that most people already own a few pieces in their wardrobes.
