Victoria Beckham has given her say on the rumoured 2018 Spice Girls re-union.
Posh Spice has responded to the claim made by The Sun that the original five members – Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton, Mel C, Mel B, and Geri Halliwell – were in talks for a possible 2018 reunion.
Beckham, appearing on This Morning, told Alison Hammond: “It’s not happening. At some point you’ve gotta know when it’s time to say, ‘that was great’. Girl Power will always be out there and is something that we all still believe.”
“What I do now is still all about girl power, but it’s empowering women through power,” she added.
“I don’t think I’ll be slipping into a PVC catsuit anytime soon.” Beckham had previously been reported as one of the main reasons a reunion had been held back for so long, due to her family commitments and focus on her career in the fashion industry.
Having taken the world by storm in the late nineties the band released three studio albums and a movie before officially splitting in 2000.
